chi.mp Unveils Social Media Hub, Giving Free Domain Names to Enable Individual Ownership and Control of Social Networking Content

HONOLULU, HI -- (Marketwire) -- 04/01/09 -- chi.mp (http://chi.mp/), a new service for owning and managing your online identity, is now available to the public. Previously in private beta, chi.mp (Content Hub & Identity Management Platform), allows chi.mp site owners to bring the many facets of their digital lives together in one place that belongs to them.

chi.mp is the first service that offers a free .mp domain name. Upon registration, owners get a free Web site that includes Open ID, rich profiles, an activity stream, a blog, photo albums and tools to import content and contacts from across the Web. chi.mp also includes a contact management system dubbed the 'Ultimate Black Book,' a tiered privacy tool called 'Personas' and the ability to publish and push content to other services, such as Twitter and Facebook.
