GoDaddy.com has chosen DomainsBot, the well-known provider of domain name information, to offer its powerful new name suggestion technology on the GoDaddy.com website. When visitors to GoDaddy.com search for a domain name, they are presented with several relevant, alternative domain suggestions that closely match their original query.

Available to registrars via an XML feed, DomainsBot provides fast, relevant, available domain name suggestions that turn domain name searches into registrations. Using a combination of syntactical, statistical, and human feedback mechanisms, DomainsBot offers alternative domain name suggestions that respond to the concepts behind a user’s search. Users oftentimes end up registering the name originally searched for, as well as additional, related names that were presented to them as a result of DomainsBot’s technology.

“Our new relationship with DomainsBot is off to a good start,” said Bob Parsons, president and founder of GoDaddy.com. “Implementation of DomainsBot’s technology was not complicated, and the actual integration took just about one day. Best of all, the technology is highly scalable – which was an absolute requirement for GoDaddy.com.”

“The ability to find the right domain name is good for both the customer and the registrars, since better suggestions lead to more registrations,” said Max Ralli, DomainsBot CEO. “Integrating our technology with the number one domain name registrar in the world, GoDaddy.com, is a real vote of confidence in our hard work and expertise.”
