GoDaddy.com names announced a new, domain management feature, "AccountExec." Available to all Go Daddy customers FREE of charge, AccountExec allows domain owners to delegate various domain management functions to others, while still retaining complete control over their domains.

The new feature allows the egistrant of one or more domains initially creates groups of domains, then appoints one or more AccountExecs to update and manage those domains on the owner's behalf.

The owner assigns the AccountExec one or more pre-defined roles for each domain group, such as Read Only, Admin, Contacts, Nameservers, Auto Renew, Cancel, Hosts and Domain
Forwarding.  An AccountExec who is assigned a "NameServer" and "Cancel" role, for example, has the ability to both modify nameserver information, as well as cancel, the entrusted domain.

"AccountExec was developed in direct response to our customers," said Bob Parsons, president and founder of Go Daddy.

"At Go Daddy, we believe that listening to our customers' needs is the best way to drive development, and that is ultimately a 'win-win' for everyone," Parsons added.
