Register.com Launches Website Tools for Realtors
By Derek Iwasiuk The new website at: www.cheesybrokerphotos.com, offers a lighthearted "Photo of the Week," and also multiple options visitors can review for getting their businesses online at discounted rates. In addition, visitors have the opportunity to register to win free web site consulting services from Register.com. According to Register.com, one winner from the site each day for a period of 10 weeks will receive one free 30-minute session with its own professional web services consultants. And, each real estate professional who enters his or her name into the running will automatically receive Register.com's "Guide to Growing Your Business Online." The guide is full of information for small business owners interested in obtaining a domain name, building a web site, setting up personalized email, promoting their business online and every step in between. The program began on January 24th and will carry on through March 31st. A survey conducted recently by the National Association of Realtors shows 81 percent of buyers who use the Internet to search for a home will purchase through a real estate agent, while just 63 percent of non-Internet users buy through an agent. In fact, non-Internet users are more likely to purchase directly from a builder or an owner they knew in advance of the transaction. Monica Hodges, General Manager, Retail Division at Register.com stated, ''The real estate industry has changed significantly in just the past decade. The Internet has become a major force in the marketing of real estate prospects. Register.com offers real estate professionals peace of mind because our team is constantly thinking about their web site - the face of their business. We view their web presence as a member of their marketing and customer service teams. Register.com is already helping thousands of real estate professionals market their businesses online and we thought this playful campaign would be a fun way of thanking all of those customers we have been serving since the mid - 90's.'' |
