Sibername.com, an ICANN,
CIRA and EURid accredited domain registrar has announced its
readiness for Land Rush 2 .eu domain registrations.
EURid, the
governing body of the .eu TLD, has announced that all domains
unsuccessfully applied for during the Sunrise application period will
become available on June 7th, 2006 under the Land Rush 2
program.
EURid stated; Names released will include all expired
domain names and those for which the last application in the queue
for that name was rejected 45 days prior to May 24. Only names which
are subject to ADR proceedings will not be released. EURid has
decided to publish the release dates for domain names in the Sunrise
WHOIS database (www.whois.eu). Release dates for the domains released
in the above process can be found at http://www.eurid.eu.
The
company has enjoyed an extremely successful launch of the .eu TLD,
with around 5000 domains registered. Interested parties can
pre-register domains previously reserved under the Sunrise process at
http://www.sibername.com/eu.
