Domain Name Registrar eNom Adds to Management Team

World’s second-largest Internet domain name registrar eNom, Inc. has appointed Taryn Naidu, the former CEO of pool.com, as an executive advisor to its management team. In this position, Naidu will drive business and product development strategy as well as recommendations for promoting corporate growth.

“Taryn is a true domain name player whose expertise coupled with his solid reputation is very valuable,” said Paul Stahura, founder and CEO of eNom and president and COO of its parent company, Demand Media. “We have our sights set on growing the aftermarket business, and with Taryn’s experience, we can implement our new aftermarket strategy.”

Naidu’s immediate focus will be eNom’s aftermarket and auction business called Club Drop™ (clubdrop.com). “Online users have become more sophisticated and their appreciation for aftermarket opportunities is increasing,” explained Naidu. “I will help eNom put in place what is needed to anticipate their users’ needs and take Club Drop to the next level.“

With pool.com since its inception, Naidu worked his way up from programmer to president and ultimately, CEO. Naidu has a computer science degree from the University of Regina.
