The total dollar value of domain names sold at this auction was more than twice of what was achieved in the most recent auction held May 2006. The $4.75 million in sales represents a 126 percent increase over the previous $2.1 million auction and a 990 percent increase over the $435,000 in domains sold just one year ago in October 2005.
