CDMworld to Sell Leading California Storm Water Website Domain Names on eBay

CDMworld a techology company based in Fort Worth, Texas announced today that it will sell the domain names of and through a public auction held on Ebay.

These domain names are in high demand due to the growing compliance requirements concerning Storm Water Pollution Prevention and the EPA NPDES Program.

"The State of California is a huge market and the environmental regulatory requirments around Storm Water are significant," says Todd Whitehurst of CDMworld. Whitehurst goes on to say that "CDMworld has decided to sell the names due to the increased interest in the names and their marketing potential to companies within the storm water compliance industry, NPDES education, government, and others working in and around water quality within the State. "We have been tracking search terms with these domain names and are seeing significant interest with terms like Stormwater, storm water, npdes, swppp, stormwater pollution prevention, bmp, erosion control, wetlands, epa, environmental protection agency, watershed, pollution, water quality, flood prevention, floods, ms4, municipal water quality, waste water, drinking water, California storm water, California department of water quality, CAL/EPA, Environmental enforcement, CEQA, state water resources control board, silt fence, curlex, concrete washout, waterboards, federal clean water act, to name a few. The maketing around these type terms is amazing and the business increase if properly used on a new or current website should be significant.

Bidding on the names will take place in an Ebay auction forum that can be reached by going to or, the bidding will start on September 1, 2006 and continue through September 10, 2006. The winning bidder will have the ownership of both domain names transferred to them for use as they decide.

CDMworld holds many other domain names within the environmental industry and stated that if this auction forum goes as expected they will release other names as the markets demand.
