A keynote panel, Data Security and Breach Notification Requirements: Pros and Cons on Monday 22nd October, will feature government and industry experts discussing how government bodies around the world have either added or are considering new data security and breach notification requirements aimed at protecting sensitive information and consumers from the growing global problem of online fraud. The panel of experts, including John Carr from the National Children’s Homes; Metropolitan Police Detective Superintendent, Susan Knight; Ed Gibson, Chief Security Advisor at Microsoft Corporation; and social networking site Bebo’s Chief Security Officer, Dr. Rachel O’Connell will – with moderator Adrienne Lawler – share their insights into investigating and preventing these types of abuses and what companies can do to protect children and families from the ever-increasing amount of "harmful material" in our multi-media age.
