As previously announced, this 2.0 release moves DeviceAtlas from a"read-only" database to a "read-write" version with the introduction of avariety of technical enhancements, including automated phone capability tests,advanced search features and powerful graph options to generate insight intodevice data patterns along with the ability to download personalized versionsof the database.

dotMobi has also received commitments for device data from a number of newcontributors, including Sony Ericsson and Bango. Data from these providers hasbeen adding to existing ongoing data updates from such mobile market-leadersas Nokia, Vodafone, Telecom Italia Mobile (TIM), Argogroup and Mobizoft.
