PODGORICA, Montenegro--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Several highly coveted .ME domains will be available for auction Thursday, Jan. 29, during DOMAINfest Global ‘09 in Hollywood, Calif.
The five .ME domains available are:

- Alert.Me
- Save.Me
These .ME domains will be available in LIVE auction, which is scheduled to take place on Thursday,Jan. 29 from 1:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. PST (4:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. EST).
The .ME auctions will be handled by Moniker, known for conducting live domain auctions throughout the world.
Moniker recently managed the highly successful auction of 11 extremely popular .ME names just four months ago. Those names sold for a total of $218,000. Date.Me alone went for $70,000.
The .ME Registry already has more than 190,000 domain names registered. The record-setting volume of 100,000 domains under management was captured in a little more than two weeks after opening for live, real-time registrations by the general public and less than four months since launching the new registry.
