GoDaddy.com Founder Bob Parsons Returns to Weekly Radio Program

August 10, 2006; 03:08 AM

Bob Parsons, founder of GoDaddy.com(R), will return LIVE to his weekly radio show - Life Online(TM) with Bob Parsons, www.lifeonline.com - tonight after being sidelined by the initial public offering process that began May 12. Yesterday, Parsons withdrew the company's Registration Statement on Form S-1 filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission, meaning he can now speak freely about his company.

Life Online is Parsons' weekly show available on terrestrial and satellite radio, streaming audio and as a podcast. It focuses on entrepreneurship and Internet business. Each Wednesday, Parsons interviews other successful Internet entrepreneurs in an effort to help listeners develop their own business enterprises.

"Why do I do a weekly radio show? To have fun," Parsons said. "As my brother always says, 'We're not here for a long time -- we're here for a good time.'"

In addition to the live program, Parsons and sidekick Nima Jones present edgy "podcast-only" segments including Best of the Blog, Strange Domains and additional guests who are more appropriate for the Internet-only portions of the show.

Life Online with Bob Parsons can be heard Wednesday nights on: * Sirius(TM) Satellite Radio channel 102 Sirius Stars -- 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. PT * XM(R) Satellite Radio channel 171 Open Road -- 10 p.m. to 11 p.m. PT * Selected terrestrial radio stations (check local listings) * Live streaming at www.lifeonline.com.

Presented by The David Lawrence Show, Life Online has been on the air for more than a year as a way for Parsons to directly connect with Go Daddy customers, as well as help aspiring Internet business owners and others who are working to create successful ventures online.

For Wednesday's show, Parsons plans to discuss his decision to withdraw the IPO for The Go Daddy Group, Inc. The fiery Parsons has pointed to adverse market conditions and his financial self-reliance as reasons for yesterday's decision. "I don't need to drive this company into a wall to make a quick buck," he wrote in his blog, www.bobparsons.com.

Also on the program, Parsons plans to interview the founders of MikWright.com -- a unique greeting card firm with stinging messages and a rich business-development story. Later in the podcast, Parsons is set to chat with the founder of AirTroductions.com and help listeners learn more about the business of helping travelers select flying companions -- for fun and romance.
