Pre-registration is now open for ICANN's 29th International Public Meeting to be held 25-29 June in
San Juan,
Puerto Rico.
The event is organized by the Puerto Rico Top Level Domain (nic.pr) and will take place at the Caribe Hilton offering 24 meeting rooms and more than 65,000 sq. ft. of flexible meeting space. ICANN's San Juan meeting is free to attend to all interested people. One can participate in the event in person, by visiting the special webcast or by subscribing to the organization's mailing lists. There will be an Internet Lounge. Wireless Internet connectivity will also be available in the main meeting, public areas and
in the participant’s rooms (only those in the hotel where the
conference will be held).
ICANN offers an opportunity for sponsorship for all companies that would be interested in upholding the event financially and at the same time showcasing their products and services on site. At this unique meeting firms will be able to present their products and
services in front of about 700 expected attendees and interact with representatives of the domain name community from around the world.
At the same time, the sponsorship will enable the organization to provide quality programs for meeting
attendees and hold its meetings in geographically diverse locations that allows
broader participation across the world's Internet community. The Internet governing body has reserved the right to not to accept sponsorships from
organizations whose missions and activities conflict with ICANN
policies.
