NewBay to offer '.mobi' as part of vision to enable personal publishing for a billion websites for mobile phones

The '.mobi' domain is specifically targeted at mobile friendly websites and is set to become the standard for mobile internet consumer browsing. Once launched, FoneBlog users will be able to buy the domain name www.johnsmith.mobi instead of "www.foneblog.ie/johnsmith", where they can store images, contacts and content and share their personal websites with other internet and mobile users. NewBay has previously offered the option to buy '.com', '.org' or '.net' domain name for their personal websites.
