Domain registration company Dotster is now offering discounted .info domain names and also Thawte Digital Security Certificates for $34.95 per year.
According to information released by Dotster, .info domains will be priced at $2.99 per year. No coupons are necessary to purchase a .info domain name for one year for $2.99. Additionally, with Dotser's new referral program, for every two domain years purchased through a customer referral, one free domain registration may be issued.
Dotster has also partnered with certification authority Thawte. The companies will offer digital security certificates for e-commerce and small business sites needing to safeguard the transmission of sensitive customer information.
