About Nicole Miller
For over twenty years, Nicole Miller has remained a principal of America's design elite. Her following is celebrity driven and far-reaching thanks to elegant designs that appeal to an array of customers. Established celebrities Angelina Jolie, Halle Barry, Jessica Simpson, Daryl Hannah, Hillary Duff and Felicity Huffman all wear Nicole Miller designs.
With degrees from the Rhode Island School of Design and the prestigious Chambre Syndicale de la Haute Couture in Paris, Nicole Miller has an enviable background in both art and couture. Her clothing is marked by the duality of her experience; beautifully cut garments are highlighted by exquisitely drawn prints.
Since 1982, Miller has set the pace for her contemporaries, inspiring design revolutions. During the 90s, Miller put actresses, instead of models on the fall runway. Minnie Driver, Gretchen Mol and Jill Hennessy among others, made "Fashion Week" history. Shortly following her show, the trend of "actresses as models" emerged, as movie stars began replacing traditional models both in print and on the runway.
A true American designer, Nicole Miller's perfect "little black dress" has evolved into an eclectic collection that imbues an individual sense of style. Today, the label has grown to include outerwear, accessories, cosmetics and a complete home furnishings line. The company boasts twenty freestanding Nicole Miller boutiques throughout the United States, each of which serves as a showplace for Nicole Miller and the lifestyle that she represents. Miller's boutiques always reflect her effervescent personality and flair for the original, unique and always unpredictable. For more information, visit www.nicolemiller.com
